This one still needs a chain, and ideally some repairs once we get our stained glass area set up (this is the one Kailyn hit with a ball -- the dark marks are where Don marked cracks with masking tape). It's also a bit larger than ideal for the window. But the colors look great -- so I think we'll hang it here, above the other window seat in the reading nook, as soon as we get some chain on it.

This is the one we had meant to hang there, but it just goes so perfectly with the paint color in the bathroom, I'm going to hang it there instead. I think the oceany colors go well with the seashells we're decorating that bathroom with, too.

This one still needs hooks so it can be hung, but I think we're going to put it above the tub here. It could also go in the reading nook in place of the Celtic dragons, but I can't think of a better place for the dragons, and the square frame on this one suits the square window nicely.

Ringo with Elvis on his back. Elvis was released back into the wild shortly after this picture was taken, since he refused to eat in captivity and we didn't want him to starve.

Another pic of Ringo with Elvis. This time they had a bit of help from Connor. Ringo, being the amazingly calm cat he tends to be, just sat there apparently wondering why there was a lizard on his head.

Ooops. Our bees were mailed, instead of held for pickup as planned -- we discovered them on our porch at nearly sundown and were up past midnight installing them in their hives.

Top bar hives -- the one on the right has the bees installed, but the other wasn't in good enough condition to use again. The plastic tray underneath holds sponges soaked in sugar water to get them started.
