January 1: Not quite done yet, obviously, but good enough for the moment!

The three top beams don't match the long horizontal beam very well because they sat out in the weather for an extended time. Jimmy thinks he might be able to use a blowtorch to add darkness to the exterior of the horizontal one to make it look more like the others, but there's no good way to make the others look like the horizontal one.

January 5: Kitchen table area so far. Notice also the trim board added above the door out onto the screened porch, so there's not an odd empty rectangle of wall there -- I think it looks much better.

I don't think I had posted pics of the bedroom trim after it was stained. It looks really warm and welcoming.
